The CPU load generated by this tool is high.
The tool launches several Android services that calculate SHA1 values for 2MB buffers filled with random data. The number of Android Services launched can be controlled by pushing the button. When you launch as many services as there are CPU cores, the CPU load is typically the highest.
It seems that this tool is too heavy. Several devices were reported broken by users. It is therefore very important to use this app carefully. MessageDigest#update() and MessageDigest#digest() are all that this tool uses.
Hence, if the device is broken, it's the device's problem since it's responsible for making sure the Android APIs work. The manufacturer may be able to repair it for you.
