On any device, the new Citrix Workspace app (previously known as Citrix Receiver) offers an exceptional user experience, including a secure, contextual, and unified workspace. It provides immediate access to all of your desktops, files, mobile and virtual applications, SaaS and web applications, and virtual applications through a user-friendly, all-in-one interface that is powered by Citrix Workspace services.
The utilisation of your mobile and virtualised applications, files, and desktops is now more efficient and straightforward than ever. Please consult your IT department for assistance in initiating the process.

Virtual Channel for Client Drive Mapping:
In a session, client drive mapping (CDM) enables the use of plug-and-play storage devices. This implies that you may utilise your local device storage or mass storage devices (e.g., pen drives) to transfer documents between the session and the user device.
Sensor Virtual Channel and Location:
This virtual channel enables Workspace to redirect sensor information to server-based applications. For instance, applications may employ accelerometer data to operate 3D-modeling applications, ambient light levels to regulate the screen's luminance, and location data to modify the application's behaviour.
VpnService functionality
The internal Web, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, and websites hosted by your organisation are accessible.
Citrix Ready workspace centre support:
The Citrix Ready workspace centre, which is based on the Raspberry Pi 3 platform, offers a secure connection to authorised applications and data. As an experimental feature, the Citrix Workspace app for Android allows users to authenticate to Citrix Ready workspace centres. This enables authenticated users to redirect their sessions to a gateway. By default, the capability is disabled.
Note: The experimental Citrix Ready workspace hub feature necessitates location permission. This permission may be denied if there are no workspace centres.
Accessibility service:
For the Citrix Workspace app sessions to operate smoothly, enable the Citrix accessibility service. We do not accumulate any user data. This service facilitates the passthrough of gestures and touches during virtual sessions.
