With FantaGOAT, the innovative start-up aims to bring Fantacalcio, the fantasy game that has around 8 million players across Italy, to a higher level.
ZonaFanta, one of the largest Fantasy Football communities in Italy, and Wallabies, which applies Machine Learning algorithms to football to provide advanced statistical support to professional clubs, came up with the solution.
Currently, FantaGOAT focuses on Italian football, but the company plans to expand to other European leagues in the future.
How does it work?
We are able to offer Artificial Intelligence support based on player performance to not only fantasy coaches but to everyone who plays Fantasy Football. Here is the app:
- Formulates indices and algorithms to suggest daily formations
- Identify the talents to target at the initial auction in advance
- Maximizes users' knowledge and, therefore, their chances of winning
Based on these factors, the solution is:
- The Wallabies' algorithms determine individual players' performance using advanced indices based on data collected on them
- The ZonaFanta Community, with over 100,000 users passionate about Fantasy Football, is the basis for teasing content and information about the launch.
Technology
With its technology, Wallabies collects over 60,000 data points per week on the performance of players in the Top 30 European leagues. For the purpose of purchasing players on the real market, Wallabies' statistical indices are consulted by its clients (including Serie A teams).
