To make the wait more bearable, the studio is creating a Dev Diary of the day to day in the form of reels (Instagram) and videos on TikTok. Malapata Studio shares their progress, the ideas they have, and how they overcome the difficulties they face as an indie studio working on their first project.
In the game, players can follow the story of the protagonist, who dares to leave behind her comfortable and monotonous life in order to explore a nomadic, natural, and eco-friendly one. We are invited to discover the experiences the main character experiences on each trip through the objects she carries, collects, changes, and leaves behind.
Starting in an empty van in a charming destination, the journey begins. During the camperizing process, as much furniture as space allows can be added. Once furnished, the goal is to store and sort all the traveler's belongings, which are listed in a pack list. Not only can the inside of the van be customized, but it can also be decorated on the exterior.
As soon as camperizing and organizing are completed, it will be time to move on. What will be the destination? We will have to wait a little longer to find out.

The main goal of Camper Van: Make it Home is to create a cozy home. For this reason, the mat our protagonist always carries with her is designed and made by hand by the Spanish artist Mart's Attack. As a Kickstarter reward, you'll receive a handmade mat with the name you choose for the van embroidered on it. It will be the only physical reward made for this campaign.
